We are a small research group in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, interested in exploring interesting problems in the area of distributed machine learning, federated learning, cloud computing, security and privacy, and networking. Our group logo represents (guess what?) a Möbius Strip, and blue is our colour (as in “aqua”).

Research groups are like start-up companies, and team members come and go. But we’d love to keep in touch with them. Over the past two decades, the iQua group has a proven track record of hosting excellent students and postdoctoral fellows, who went on to start their professional careers in both academia and industry.
